Absolutely delicious sushi! I wish I had pictures for all of the times we have gone here. Impressive display on their rolls, love when they come out on a boat. They normally have a special roll each month; great flavor combinations and a master piece to see. Service is always attentive! Little pricey, but you're getting good quality. The cold rolls always come out cold, nothing worse than over worked, warm raw fish, yuck, have never had to worry about that here. Clean bathrooms, inviting bar with TV for sports if you're into that, seats to watch sushi get made, and plenty of room for larger parties. The light above us was red for atmosphere but the fish and vegetable ingredients are always fresh and bright.

I go to Sumo Sushi for one reason. Before I would DoorDash it years ago. The food is still good. The only reason to show up there is to see the bartender. Her name is Sybil. She is the BEST bartender around. She is beautiful, funny and quick-witted. Everyone around her loves her. She spreads love and laughter like no other person around let alone bartender. I came in and the restaurant was slow, but the bar? It was fully wrapped. Even two high tops were filled. All to see her. So yes the food is good. The restaurant is in a quiet spot near downtown Derry. The reason you should go is to see Sybil. She is amazing. 10000000000000/10 would definitely recommend going here.

Beyond expectations. Everyone in this building works their hardest to make sure you get the best food and experience. The food is divine. Renee and Sybil are lovely. The owner frequently checks for quality assurance in every area of this building. Thank you Cindy!

I always have a fantastic dining experience at Sumo! The combination of sushi and Chinese dishes on the menu are outstanding, offering something for everyone. The sushi was incredibly fresh and beautifully presented—each roll bursting with flavor. I will generally grade my review off an Crab Rangoon and these hit it out of the park, perfectly cooked with just the right balance of cream cheese and crab meat. The service was excellent, with the staff being attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu. The ambiance was modern yet cozy, making it a great spot for both casual meals and special occasions. They can easily take large groups and still provide great service to all. If you’re craving high-quality sushi or authentic Chinese cuisine, Sumo is a must-visit. I’ll definitely be returning to explore more of their menu!

We had a fantastic time we went with a 3-year-old and a 13-year-old with two adults bless their staff everybody's far enough away from each other that no one really interrupts anybody a service is wonderful and on point not to aggressive the food is delicious the prices are pretty decent parking lot is very accessible definitely a multiple trip place
